Passion fruit is one of my favourite smoothie additives, and besides being filled with vitamins, potassium and antioxidants like betacarotene, this fruit provides a lot of bang for its buck in terms of flavour! Another fav food additive of mine is turmeric. The health benefits of turmeric are fantastic, and its health synergy with Black pepper utilized in this recipe. Some may think black pepper is an odd smoothie ingredient. Cauliflower is a great smoothie ingredient when used with care, and really balances the sweetness of the fruits, while also contributing additional dietary fiber and other nutrients like folate, vitamin K and B6.

Passion Fruit & Turmeric Smoothie

Method

Add the coconut milk and water to a blender, followed by all remaining ingredients.

Blend till well combined and smooth, usually a few minutes.

Enjoy!
